Unsuitable for cages. However, if you confine the bird in a cage, make sure the bird gets its daily jaunt. We strongly recommend an aviary with shelter, which must be kept warm during winter times. As food you can serve sunflower nuclei, sorghum or the like, also germed. Furthermore you can feed beans, smooth chilli, fruits and 2-3 prawns per couple. On top of the food you can add multi-vitamins juice and mineral supplements. Put also enough new twigs for nibbling into the aviary.
