Hoyden vs. breeding by hand
Birds that are grown up in wilderness are shy and keep distance if the are kept in an aviary. Contrary to birds that are grown up by breeding by hand, which appear to be very trustly, in particular, if their breeder arrives at the aviary they can't wait to get close to the wire to get close to their liason. Nevertheless, this behevior of birds that are grown up by breeding by hand may effect negatively their mating in the future. Thus, only in exceptional cases (e.g. if the old ones don't feed their young ones) we recommend breeding by hand.
